Question for all you buddy slimmers…

Hi Buddy slimmers!

I was just wondering if anyone else has been feeling worn out since they started dieting? I have been exercising and eating right for about 3 months now, and I have been so tired some days that I fall asleep on the couch at like 8:30pm. Now mind you I do have an hour commute one way for work everyday M-F.  So I have long days. However, I also have sleep apnea and use a C-Pap machine when I sleep, so I should be getting enough sleep. But I have noticed since I have been dieting and exercising I have been super tired some nights( well most nights). I thought that I would have more energy!

Should I be taking vitamins? I do take a multi-vitamin already, should I be taking something else? What is making me feel so exhausted? Any help and advice would be appreciated!

what are you eating? and drinking? i think vitamins are good….but you really need to make sure your eating the right foods and drinking the right things too…and 8:30 is not real early..if your sitting on the couch and you have had a long day…and you have been exercising ….of course you will be tired… but, are you tired all through out the day??

Sometimes I feel the same way.I noticed if i eat more protien foods i feel better.I’m not saying cut any others out but try a little more protien.
and maybe it could be medication too.

I have to agree with dawniegh about the protein. I seem to have more energy when I have more protein. I am also an eary riser so 8 or 8:30 is my bedtime too!
    Have a good one!

You may want to contact your doctor if it persists. I actually have more energy since I started eating healthy and exercising. Dr Oz on Oprah said if you take multivitamins you should take 1/2 in the morning and half in the evening to make sure you are getting enough in your system all day long. If you take it all at once in the morning , a lot of vitamins are water soluable and you will pee out the excess.

I was really tired when I first started to eat right and workout. It took my body about a month or so to get use to all that I was doing. Now, I have problems falling and staying asleep. I think because my metabolism changed, my sleep got messed up. I take a sleep aid now but I also take vitamins. I take a multivitan and fish oils with omega 3 in it. That seems to help. Also, I hear Dr. Oz say (on Oprah) that with your multivitamin, you should cut it in hapf and take part in the morning and the other half at night. good luck!
