feeling kinda low

I stepped on the scale today and it is telling me that I gained 5 pounds since last Friday.  I don’t understand how that is possible. Sure it is my TOM, but come on? I have been working really hard this week and eating right, I just don’t see how that number could be correct. I am hoping that I will drop some of that before Saturday’s weigh in.  I think I am going to take off from exercising tomorrow, I have been so tired this week and need to get let my body rest. I have mixed feelings about that though. I want to loose so I feel I need to exercise, but then again I feel my body needs a rest. Maybe I will do half of what I have been doing.

I just don’t understand, how the scale could give me that number. :(

    Oh hang in there girl…I can gain up from 5 to 8lbs during that time. Luckily, it doesn’t hang around long…so dont let it get you down. If your body feels like it needs rest…do it. Whatever you do..don’t let that scale monster get you down…if your working hard…and eating right…time will tell in the end…also, pounds may not move..what about inches?? Good luck and hang in there!!!

    Well, I think you can acutally hold that much water during your TOM. You just keep doing all the right things and the scale will reflect your hard work. If not this week then the next week. And don’t listen to that low feeling. That’s part of TOM too. Don’t let it effect you. Just tell yourself that when TOM goes things will go back to normal. Hang in there. :)

    It is distressful to see a bigger number but look how far you have come. TOM is nothing but a passing thing and you will see when its gone, things will look a lot better. Just stick with it! If your body is tired, you need to rest. Resting for one day is not going to change your weight loss. Sometimes, believe it or not, it actually helps. :)

    If you read back over your posts Julie, you will see a pattern. Almost EVERY week you get all shook up because you think you won’t have a loss, then at the last minute you show up with one…. and so what if you don’t? Will that be the end of your efforts to lose, show that doctor a thing or two, start a family??? No way! I know you better than that. You just take a look at your weighttracker… and keep on doing just exactly what you’ve been doing! love from your AccBud. :)

    Julie, you can never survive as me because my scale flucuates ina 3 pound radius from day to day. I just take Saturday as the official weigh in. PLus you have water gain from the period. Don’t sweat it girl!
