Help!
I am a bit upset with my weigh in this morning. I worked really hard this week working out sometimes 2 hours a day, and for what… I MAINTAINED! According to this tracker I found online I burned 5713 calories this week and worked out for 10 hours. And I didn’t eat anything I shouldn’t have all during the week so how come I didn’t loose? I stayed on track with my points and drank my water, didn’t eat anything with too much sodium. I did everything I should have and according to the tracker for working out, I should have lost almost 2 pounds.
I just don’t understand it. I know I messed up last Saturday with the Easter Chocolate episode, but I didn’t eat 2 pounds worth of weight in that one time. I am just frustrated, I work hard and do what I should and still by body won’t drop the weight. Last year at this time I was dropping 2-3 pounds a week, and now nothing for like weeks at a time or I gain. ARGH!
Now I am heading back to work and won’t be able to find as much time to work out as I did this week. It will be back to maybe 30 minutes a day of working out. It’s hard when you work so far from home and then have to travel so far to get home. I get home close to 5:30-6pm every night, exercise for 30 minutes, make dinner, correct the papers I bring home, hop on here for a few minutes, back to papers, and then at about 9:30 I usually collapse from exhaustion.
I just don’t know what to do, any more. I get everything right, and yet my body wants to hold on to the weight. HELP!!!
Your body is adjusting. Stay positive. I just went through one of these periods (not really a plateau, but sort of) I was at a same weight for the longest time and worked out at least 1 hour a day and NEVER cheated. I never lost until this morning. Your body’s making sure you’re not starving it… that you’re in it for you and adjusting to burning things it never did as much before. It’s a big change and it needs time to get used to this drastic change in lifestyle. Don’t overdo the exercises, switch it up and do different exercises or trick your body by eating a bit less or a bit more calories. Good luck and stay focused. It’s frustrating, but you can’t control how your body reacts. Control your emotions and push any negative thoughts out. Try to be positive. Everyone knows it won’t happen overnight, but you’ll be happy you stuck to it in a few months… because the 1 little pounds here and there add up, and in the big scale of it all, you’ll lose a lot long-term and be so much healthier. Be strong.
Patience is really a virtue when you’re losing weight. Just remember, we’re in it for the long haul. ((((hugs))))

Maybe with the extra work outs, your body needed more food??? Or the choc could have just caught up
I know sometimes it doesnt show right away…it attackes slowly after we have gotten back on track to slam us with a gain or maintain. Hang in there…the good stuff your doing will show…be patient just a bit longer
Trying adding so more caloires you body may need more energy to burn. I hope that helps and don’t get down on your self. Maintaining is still a postive step in your weight loss.
hmmm.. I recently gained back 3 of the lbs that I had lost in one week. First off, I knew there was no way that I had ate 7500 EXTRA cals. I was told it was my body adjusting and eventually I would lose that weight and then some and I did! You might have a big weight loss coming up, but if not then just stay on track you’re doing really well. For me, I lost the three lbs the next week and then lost two lbs this week.
Girl, don’t let your head hang. We all go thru a phase where our bodies try to hold on to every pound and will fight us. Just hang in there and your body has to let go of the lbs at one point

You might worked out to hard compared to what you are eating. Not eating enough when working out very hard will hinder your weight loss too.
Keep up what you’ve been doin’ and if you still maintain next week, do some adjustments. It’s all about finding the right balance
You are doing great. Be proud of yourself
